The Patent Law provides 12 months to file the complete specification to protect the priority date of the provisional application.

Government fees is not included and is additional. Government fees is 1,600 for individuals, startups and SME’s; and 8,000 for other applicant types. Additional government fees are applicable for provisional patent applications over 30 pages.
